third series circa 1939, with blued 25 1/2in. sighted barrel numbered to the rifle, push-button barrel release, bolt handle locking catch, blued air-chamber with the make and model details to the left hand side and five lines of patents to the right, blued trigger-unit with no safety catch, walnut chequered saw-handled butt-stock, adjustable peep-sight, horn heel-plate with later translucent perspex spacer, the whole retaining a strong amount of original finish; TOGETHER WITH an un-numbered .22 barrel for the same model also with much original finish (2)
